Biography:
Mr. Bergé joined the firm in 2004 and became a partner in 2014. After a time away dedicated to medicolegal consulting and teaching in master's degree and doctoral programs, he returned to the firm in 2024. A licensed physician associate for over 40 years and a veteran medical and medicolegal educator, Mr. Bergé concentrates his law practice in medical negligence claims involving physicians and a wide range of other healthcare professionals as well as healthcare organizations. He has also handled numerous workers' compensation and personal injury matters.
In addition to his varied teaching activities, Mr. Bergé has published articles in medical and medicolegal journals and has chapters in two medicolegal textbooks.
He regularly volunteers his time and medical skills to medical missions in Central and South America. He is fluent in Spanish.
