Bendit Weinstock has been obtaining outstanding victories for our clients since its founding in 1957. Our attorneys are experienced trial lawyers and practitioners who know what it takes to address legal problems efficiently and effectively. Bendit Weinstock’s founders, Benjamin Bendit and Thomas Weinstock, believed that every client, whether an individual or a business, had a right to justice. Over 59 years later, the Firm’s attorneys still fight everyday for this principle.
The Firm has successfully handled high-stakes and complex litigation matters of all kinds, including: Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Commercial and; Business Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Products Liability, Estate Litigation, Family Law & Divorce and Corporate Law to name a few.
We are a result-oriented law firm. Our goal is always to obtain the best results for our clients. We approach cases differently than many other firms do. We use the pre-trial discovery process as a tool to prepare us to win cases in the courtroom at trial. We understand that not all cases go to trial, but we know that our clients get the best settlements when a case is thoroughly prepared and ready to go to trial.
The Firm has a history of involvement in cases which have had a positive impact upon the public’s stake in the legal system or have set legal precedent regarding unsettled points of law. Among such cases, the firm represented clients in two significant lawsuits which resulted in important New Jersey Supreme Court decisions – one clarified the right of a client to choose his or her attorney; and another involved the preservation of the “appearance of impropriety standard” applying to the conduct of judges. In pursuing appeals, the firm has addressed complex issues relating to procedural matters, admissibility of evidence, and other matters which have a broad and real impact upon litigants’ access to the courts and obtaining a fair trial once involved in the litigation process. The firm has been involved in other public interest litigation by the filing of amicus or “friend of the Court” briefs, on behalf of various organizations, to protect the rights of litigants.
Whenever an individual or a business needs an attorney, we know that they need someone who understands what they are going through and that they want an attorney who they can trust to handle their important needs. We value those needs. Our attorneys emphasize constant communication with our clients so that they know what is going on with their legal matter at all stages. We strive to ensure that our clients are fully informed and involved in the legal process.
